Total Video Count Now Over 1,800

We are celebrating breaking the 1,800 videos online mark this week. We continue to add a new scene every day, and now have over 1.2 Terabytes of full screen quality porn movies online that you can download and save. We also have added some new studios like Acid Rain, Fusxion, and Mach 2 Entertainment. And our members have been loving the "Dirty Dan's POV" series that we have been adding recently. So if you haven't been by in a while, there is lots of new stuff to watch.

More Video Formats

We have recently started adding a 650k/sec WMV full length download option for those of you with slower connections. Some of you that did not have fast enough connections to stream the higher resolution movies may now be able to watch these new ones online without any choppiness. These will also take less than half the time to download than the Mpegs or highest WMV option. Hope this helps those of you who don't have the speedy connections like some of our members who have whopping 20Mbps speeds. RCN in Boston is now offering 20Mbps, so if you live there, that is some crazy speed.

More POV Scenes Finally

Our POV section is one of our most popular categories. But we have not been able to get much more point of view stuff in that last few months. Fortunately, the new studios each have a few titles so we should be able to add at least three DVD's worth of scenes. The first title to go up is "Worship This Bitch" from Bouncy Pictures. This is a good title with very sharp video quality, so the transfer to Mpeg and WMV came out really nice and the movies look really clear. So if you are looking for more of this stuff, now is a good time to get some.

New Movie Studios

Good news. We have added a few new movie studios to our list of companies who will license their movies to us. We now have access to many titles from Acid Rain, Demolition, and Bouncy Pictures. There are some really good porn videos from these guys, so we will be getting some of them in soon.

New Video Compression Method

Sorry it has been so long since the last blog update. Obviously we've been adding movies daily, but the blog didn't turn out to be a popular way to inform people of updates. So I will stick to other type site news for the blog section.
A few months ago we started using new software to compress our movies from DVD's. The results are excellent, and the Mpegs look even better than they used to. I am also going to be adding a WMV file option to many of the new updates, as I have found that once you get over 1400k sec, Mpegs just don't get much better, but at 2000k/sec, the WMV files look really nice. So I will be making movies of both formats, and whenever the WMV files look really nice, I will add a full length WMV file in addition to the the regular videos.

New Search Function

The other major thing that is new, is that we recently completed indexing the whole site, with keywords for every scene. Whoo, that took a long time. I have to admit, it is one of the better search functions I have scene on an adult site. It runs just like a regular search engine - it is like the Google for the Huge Mpegs members area. Pretty cool, and members seem to like it alot. And here's tidbit of interesting info. The top ten searches only represent about 2% of the total searches - meaning their is a huge variety of what people want. So, I am trying to increase the variety in the site by adding even more movies.

New Videos

Well, it has been a long time since I have posted to this blog, so there are hundreds of new videos. We have added about 200GB of movies in the last year, and now have way over 300 hours of movies online, and they are all still downloadable, and still with no DRM. DRM stands for digital rights management, and it is that little piece of code inserted into the movie that makes your computer check your username and password at the site to make sure it is active before you can watch the movie. Lots of sites are using this now, so even though they say you can download their videos, you have to stay and active member to watch the movies you have downloaded. So you can't burn those movies to DVD, and you have to have a current membership to watch them. This seems to be the way the industry is going, as it greatly increases rebills, but we still have not adapted this new technology, and don't plan to any time soon.
So, things are still the way they were - just more movies, I even upped the resolution a bit on the movies now, so they are even more clear - now that people have 17 inch monitors, I had to up it a little to make it nice and clear on the larger screens.
